Modeling for 3D printing
This is a personal project I did for a friend of mine who wanted this particular figurine in order to print it and use it during the DnD campaign he was playing at that time. My main references were the Atropal character description and the artworks depicted on the Dungeons and Dragons 5th edition book, as well as some other 3D print sculpts I found online.
Since this is my first sculpt in Zbrush, at the beginning it was kind of hard to get used to this new software and deal with its tricky features, but still it was super fun to get the project done.
The model was entirely sculpted in Zbrush. Retopology, Bakeing and Rendering were done in Blender while part of the texturing process was done in Substance Painter.
Software used:
Zbrush | Blender | Substance Painter
